Postponing Season 1 to Early 2027

The Digital Endurance Championship (DEC) team would like to share an important update regarding the start of our first official season. After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the start of Season 1 to early 2027.

Why are we postponing?

We are fully committed to delivering a professional, high-quality racing experience from day one. To achieve this, we need a little more time in two key areas:

• Platform & Polishing: While our custom web application and backend systems are coming together well, we want to ensure that all features and user interfaces are 100% polished and thoroughly tested before we launch.
• Brand Visibility & Reach: We want to build a strong, active community and ensure we reach enough dedicated teams worldwide. Taking extra time allows us to properly build our brand visibility, improve our SEO, and expand our outreach through social media and sim racing platforms.

What is next?

The definitive new calendar for the 2027 season will be announced very soon. We want to thank everyone who has already shown interest, registered, or supported our vision.

Building a truly fair, transparent, and professional endurance competition takes time. We believe this extra time will ensure that when the green flag drops in early 2027, the DEC will be the ultimate standard for virtual endurance racing. Stay tuned for more updates!
